Climate Cardinals volunteers, fellows, and chapter leaders drive change locally and globally. They transform climate adaptation into resilience and reshape conversations in their communities.
From our fellows’ presence on the WHO Youth Council, translations being used across Africa by the UNDP, to chapters planting trees across Southeast Asia, everything we do is focused on creating lasting impact that strengthens community resilience to climate change.

activating youth in a regional
awareness campaign
The UYC India chapter launched the "Biodiversity Begins with You" campaign for the International Day for Biodiversity, activating over 1,200 youth champions across Asia to raise awareness and spark local action, strengthening community engagement in protecting biodiversity.
Bringing together youth and
community leaders for resillience
The TU Nepal chapter co-hosted a tree plantation and community gathering in Shankharapur, mobilizing 20+ volunteers to plant native saplings and spark intergenerational dialogue on forest restoration, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

The KIU Uganda chapter launched EcoDiaries, a youth-led storytelling platform that has trained over 50 young storytellers and partnered with 3 regional media organizations to amplify grassroots climate solutions across Africa.

Climate Cardinals translated material for the Society for the Protection of Underground Networks (SPUN) leading up to COP16. Over 1000+ policymakers and advocates interacted with the work during the summit.
the power of a translation
Future of Water
Translating the Future of Water game into 7 languages enabled the UNDP to use it in Namibia and the UN Foundation to support wider global access. The French version is also reaching francophone Africa and informing water policy discussions in France.
Green Building Council
Climate Cardinals translated the Building Decarbonization Practice Guide into Spanish, making complex solutions accessible to Spanish-speaking audiences. The translation has reached 100,000+ people, advancing climate action through clearer, more inclusive communication.
Climate Mental Health Network
In response to recent wildfires, Climate Cardinals translated the poem “So Much Beauty to Fight For” into multiple languages. Distributed by CMHN across Pasadena schools, the piece reached over 10,000 students and supported healing, reflection, and climate awareness in fire-impacted communities.
