CHAPTERS STRENGTHENING LOCAL CLIMATE RESILIENCE IN NEPAL

Bibishka, a chapter leader at Tribhuvan University in Nepal, mobilized her team to lead disaster preparedness workshops and coordinate flood relief efforts following severe monsoons, helping build long-term resilience in her community.

SUPPORTING INCLUSIVE CLIMATE ADAPTATION IN africa

Climate Cardinals translated UNICEF’s Climate Risk Index into Indigenous and African languages, enabling 124 UNICEF offices across Africa to strengthen locally led, inclusive climate action rooted in community and Indigenous knowledge.

MOBILIZING YOUTH ACROSS ASIA

The UYC India chapter launched the “Biodiversity Begins with You” campaign for the International Day for Biodiversity, activating over 1,200 youth champions across Asia to raise awareness and spark local action, strengthening community engagement in protecting biodiversity.
