Anabel Roza

Regional Co-President: North America - Northwest

Anabel Roza is a Regional President at Climate Cardinals, where she supports youth-led climate advocacy by advancing accessibility, awareness, and local engagement. She currently works in the energy sector as the Vegetation and Wildfire Mitigation Manager at Seattle City Light, helping reduce wildfire risk across transmission infrastructure through data-driven decision making, regulatory strategy, and operational coordination.

Anabel brings a background in environmental studies, economics, and public service, having served as a U.S. Navy officer in operations and engineering roles prior to transitioning into civilian leadership. Her work spans climate risk reduction, team building, and cross-sector coordination. She is passionate about connecting systems-level environmental work with grassroots action, and she believes that community empowerment and accessible information are key to advancing climate justice.

Outside of her role with Climate Cardinals and City Light, Anabel is pursuing her MBA at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and enjoys trail running, sailing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her partner and their dog, Grizzly.
